As bright and colorful as it’s music video produced by The Wild Honey Pie and animated by Andrew Colin Beck, Pigeon John’s vibrant song, "They Don’t Make Em Like Me" feels like the first few breaths of summer air. This cool, exciting track features notes of horns, sax, piano and funky production. The lyrics, “I flow right through the door / Float like the butterfly what’s below,” present an air of a carefree and effortlessly cool attitude. “I say we roll on right through the boulders / And play underneath all the stars above us,” feels like an encouragement to roll with the punches regardless of what comes your way and live in the moment. 

Pigeon John’s latest project, Gotta Good Feelin’ was released on April 24 and includes this and other fun and positive tracks that are similarly fresh and clean. If one thing is for sure, they certainly don’t make instant bops like this no more.
