Joining the Newport Folk Festival lineup as one of a handful of local bands, Sub Pop recording artist Death Vessel gave us one hell of a session as Deer Tick line checked in the background. Watch below for their delicately-performed version of "Mercury Dime."
On The Boat is a video series made possible by Squarespace featuring intimate performances shot at some of our favorite music festivals. For Newport Folk Fest in Newport, Rhode Island we chartered a boat, set a course for Fort Adams State Park and brought aboard some incredible artists and fans. The weekend was filled with performances by Lucius, Shakey Graves, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Hamilton Leithauser, Tall Tall Trees and Death Vessel.
