Amazingly enough, 2011 has already come and gone, but with it came a slew of glorious, captivating records. From the return of veterans Bright Eyes, Wilco, and Death Cab for Cutie, to sophomore explosions from The Antlers, Girls, Bon Iver, and Fleet Foxes, and jaw-dropping debuts from Youth Lagoon, James Blake, You Won’t, and Caveman, this has been one incredible year of music for us.
Say what you will about this year versus the last, but with the return of lush, hi-fi music from both bands we’ve loved for years and those that have just recently stolen our hearts, 2011 rivals some of the best music years in recent history.
