Being with Local Natives for their performance at the base of Hunter Mountain during the taping of our new season of On The Mountain was an out-of-body experience. Against the backdrop of a snowy landscape and skiers weaving through the scene, their unique melodies and delicate harmonies rang beautifully through the crisp mountain air. Despite the cold, the band delivered an utterly flawless performance. We recorded fan favorites from their recent albums, “Just Before the Morning” and “Alpharetta.”

Back at Glen Falls House, our other home base for the ski trip, we taped the band’s intimate live set. The crowd was stoked to hear “NYE” and the band’s 2009 hit, “Airplanes.” Witnessing both the intimate live session and the rock star set at the cozy Catskills resort helped us even more appreciate what makes this band so special.

Our Pizza Party series with Stereogum is near and dear to our hearts and we cannot wait to celebrate the summer season with our upstate friends and visitors from all over the country! Bringing you some extra sweet news today! Ginger Winn will be performing live at our invite only Dinner Party at Le Fanfare in Brooklyn on June 10. Live music will be accompanied by 5 courses of delicious Italian cuisine and a couple complimentary drinks. As a special treat we have dessert from the iconic Settepani Bakery.

This March, Ginger Winn introduced herself with the dreamlike “Super 8,” the first song off her debut album, Stop-Motion, set for release June 7 via Keep Good Company Records. Only three days after the record drops we'll be enjoying this incredible experience together.

Stop-Motion was recorded in upstate New York and produced by the legendary David Baron (The Lumineers, Michael Marcagi, Noah Kahan). The upcoming album is a culmination of creativity from Ginger Winn, Tina Baione and Matthew Baione. The three combined forces after meeting on Upwork when Tina was looking for an artist to bring Matthew’s poems to life. Seemingly, these three are a match made in heaven.
