Over the past three years, I have had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite bands in the world through our Buzzsessions. Many of the artists, alt-J, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper and Kishi Bashi, for example, were fresh on the scene when we recorded with them and yet they all performed like seasoned veterans. When there is an artist that I have been listening to for year that wants to work with us, I cannot help but to be blown away. Recently the Canadian group Stars was in Brooklyn and stopped by Degraw Sound in Brooklyn for a Buzzsession where they recorded a track off their latest album, The North, as well as the song that first got me hooked, "On Peak Hill." I cannot thank the band enough for this one, and to you for watching what we captured that day in the studio.
